The Career Guidance Cell at VCET is a dedicated platform that helps students to discover their strengths, explore career opportunities, and make informed decisions about higher studies, competitive exams, and professional growth through regular mentoring, training, and counselling.

VCET Strategic Objectives:
1. To carry out a comprehensive student survey from I year itself to understand their aspirations, expectations, and challenges in pursuing higher education and competitive exams.
2. To guide and motivate students to pursue active preparation for Higher Studies, Civil Services, and competitive exams.
3. To conduct awareness drives and motivational sessions that highlight the benefits and opportunities of pursuing higher education both in India and overseas.
4. To partner with reputed institutions and coaching centres to host information desks and counselling booths inside the college for higher study guidance.
5. To arrange structured coaching programs and practice sessions for exams like GATE, MAT, GMAT, TOEFL, and Civil Services, with professional trainers.
6. To engage our alumni network, especially those studying or working abroad, to mentor students and share real-time experiences about global education pathways.
7. To arrange seminars, workshops, and webinars by experts to guide students in career planning and profile enhancing.
8. To initiate peer-learning programs within each department, allowing students to train, guide, and support each other in preparing for various competitive exams.
9. To celebrate and reward achievers who excel in entrance tests or secure admissions to national and international universities.
10. To monitor, review, and refine the activities every year based on student feedback and success outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
11. To arrange career counselling sessions with industry experts, psychologists, and academic mentors to help students choose the right career path.
12. To maintain updated resources and study materials in the Career Guidance Cell for students preparing for various exams and interviews.
