VCET library serves as a knowledge resource centre and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of resources useful for faculty and students and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge. Library intends to incorporate the latest technology and adopt user friendly approach towards students and faculty. It aims at serving the academic needs of all students and faculty members.The library contains 27,996 volumes on different subjects with 11,482 titles. There are 101 periodicals, 2062 Compact disks and have access to IEEE ASPP online journals package. All the students, teaching and non-teaching staff are members of the library which follows open access system. It maintains a separate reference collection consisting of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks, atlases, etc..

Digital environment featuring an audio-visual room for online courses like NPTEL. High-speed internet-enabled computer systems which allow students to easily access, refer to, and download crucial documents for their project work. The library's multifaceted approach ensures that students have comprehensive access to both traditional and digital learning resources, supporting their academic growth and research endeavours across various disciplines.

The library is fully computerized and automated with the carpet area of 1090 sq.m.

Library has 150 seating capacity in the reading section.

Web OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility is available for users.
