The Department of Chemistry focuses on disseminating basic knowledge in Chemistry that can be extended to the study of engineering subjects and to the application of Chemistry in Engineering Practices.
One of the highlights of the department is the regular conduct of interdisciplinary seminars and conferences at the National level, co-opting the Engineering departments. The department also extends support towards interdisciplinary projects.
