The Literary Club of the department of English serves as a vibrant platform for students to explore and enhance their linguistic and creative abilities. Under the guidance and support of the Head of the department, Dr. S. Gomathy, various events are planned and organized every year. Each faculty is given a chance to coordinate an event. The aim of the English literary club is to encourage the learners appreciate the beauty of the English language and develop effective communication skills. The club organizes variety of activities such as poetry writing, short story contest, debate, elocution, dramatization, and book review competitions. These events help the students to develop confidence, critical thinking, and encourage creative expression in English.
