The department is equipped with well-established laboratory facilities that provide students with comprehensive hands-on exposure and strengthen their practical understanding of core civil engineering concepts. The Fluid Mechanics & Machinery Laboratory supports the study of fluid behavior and hydraulic machines, while the Strength of Materials Laboratory enables the evaluation of material properties under various loading conditions. The Concrete and Highway Engineering Laboratory facilitates testing of construction and pavement materials, and the Survey Laboratory trains students in modern field measurement and mapping techniques using advanced instruments. The Soil Mechanics Laboratory helps students analyze the engineering properties of soils essential for geotechnical applications, and the Environmental Engineering Laboratory enables the characterization of water and wastewater through key physical, chemical, and biological tests. The Computer Aided Drawing Laboratory enhances students’ design and drafting skills using industry-standard software tools. Collectively, these laboratories ensure a strong practical foundation, promote technical competency, and support both academic learning and research activities.
