The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is supported by a comprehensive range of modern laboratories that strengthen both theoretical understanding and practical skills. These facilities include the Electron Devices, Electronic Circuits and Integrated Circuits Laboratories, where students gain hands-on experience with semiconductor devices, circuit design and IC applications. The Microprocessor and Microcontroller Laboratory, along with the Signal and Image Processing Laboratory, offers a platform for programming, interfacing, digital signal analysis and image processing experiments. Advanced training is supported through the Optical and Microwave Laboratory, the Network and Simulation Laboratory and the VLSI Laboratory, enabling students to work with microwave components, communication networks, simulation tools and chip-level design environments. The Communication Laboratory further enhances practical knowledge in modulation techniques, coding schemes and wireless communication systems. In addition to these teaching facilities, the department hosts two notable research centers: The Centre for Unmanned Systems Lab and the Centre of Excellence for Embedded Systems and IoT, both of which promote innovation, project development and research in emerging technologies.
