Innovative Teaching Practices

In order to enhance the learning of students, faculty members of our department use innovative teaching methods. Innovative teaching strategies include Project-Based Learning (PBL), gamification, animated video, NPTEL video, Role play and the Flipped Classroom model, which make learning more student-centered and engaging. Other methods involve integrating technology like virtual reality and smartboards, using cooperative learning techniques like "Think-Pair-Share," and focusing on social-emotional learning to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-awareness skills. Innovative teaching methods increase student engagement, improve learning outcomes, and develop crucial skills like critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. They also foster personalized learning, better prepare students for future careers by building adaptability, and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
